Who Dey! – Cynthia Knight is a lifelong Bengals fan who is loved and admired by all those around her

Cynthia Knight is a strong-willed family woman who comes from a big family herself. She was the sixth of eight siblings, and growing up she learned the importance of loyalty and devotion.

And this loyalty goes far past sticking by her Cincinnati Bengals through many let-down years. Cynthia’s loyalty is to her friends and family as well, and most importantly, to God.

When you ask anyone who has been around Cynthia, they will tell you she is dedicated to her faith. She is a Christian woman who attends many church functions to go along with showing her values each and every day. Even when she was raising her sons, she did so in a way where they always knew God’s got their back.

Speaking of raising her sons, Cynthia is one amazing mother. Everything she ever did was for her boys and for her family, and they both know that… and they both appreciate that very much.

“Mama means everything to us! Without her voice and willingness to not let us fail, we would not be the people we are today,” Chuck said on behalf of himself and Chris.

Cynthia always pushed her boys to be the best they could be without being overbearing. She made sure she was always there to fall back on if they struggled with anything, and Chuck and Chris always knew their mother’s support was on full display.

Being a mother also means being someone your kids look up to. That is exactly what Cynthia has always provided for her sons, as she is a role model in many ways. They both look up to her for many things, and there are two things in particular they admire about Mom.

“One is her strength to stand in the face of adversity,” Chuck and Chris said. “There are times when she may be the only person believing in something, but she will stand by herself if the situation calls for it.”

If you need someone who is going to stand on her principles, Cynthia is your girl.

Even more so, if you need someone who is going to be in your corner when no one else will be, you can count on Cynthia to be that person as well. She is not afraid to stand up for what or who she believes in.

“Two is her ability to speak out against,” Chuck and Chris added. “There are also times when she may have to speak against things and it may not be the most popular stance, but she still says what needs to be said.”

Again, Cynthia is not scared to have the unpopular opinion. She has dealt with that all her life being a Christian, and she is not going to back down now.

What Cynthia is not going to back down on either is her selflessness. She has a heart of gold and an uncanny desire to help others.

“The willingness to help others and sacrifice is what makes Cynthia a good mother, daughter, sister and grandmother,” Chuck and Chris said.

Being a devoted family member means being there for your people. That is something Cynthia has done all her life, and she continues to do so each and every day.

She loves being a sacrificial “Grandman” too. She looks out for Carson, Cendall and Cellan, and she is the most hands-on, loving grandmother her grandkids could ask for.

They could not ask for a better person to make memories with either, as every day with Grandman is a chance to share a special moment. She is also a loving mother-in-law to her daughter-in-law Jenisse.

“There would not be enough ink to write about the countless memories that have happened over a lifetime,” Chuck and Chris exclaimed.

Being around the type of mother they have, it comes as no surprise they cannot narrow down the memories. That would not be doing the other memories justice.

Overall, Chuck and Chris just truly admire their mother. They are astonished by all she has accomplished, all she has done for them and everything she will do for them moving forward.

“The message that we would like to share with Mama is that you are loved and appreciated to the highest degree! We appreciated the way you raised us, and we appreciate how you still continue to guide and counsel us. We hope that we have made you proud as children, and we pray that you continue to be in good health and a sound mind.” – Chuck & Chris
