‘The Ultimate Sacrifice’: Lana Bertron reminds her husband every single day why he fell in love with her over a decade ago

When Nick talks about his life, he talks about how much better it has been since his wife, Lana, entered it over 11 years ago.

From their time of living together at Lana’s parents’ house after college to the time Lana took a swig of tequila that a stranger pulled out of his pants during their Carnival cruise in 2014 to having two amazing little children together, the Bertron couple is full of love, laughter and creating nothing but memories together.

“Lana has a wonderful sense of humor,” Nick said. “She is extremely kind and caring, and she is extremely thoughtful when it comes to recognizing others during special life events. She is also very selfless and quick to jump to action when others are in need and very generous with her time in helping others.”

Lana is someone who is always there for others, and this genuine care is just one of the many reasons why Nick loves her so much. She treats everyone with kindness and compassion, and there is not a single person in this world that Lana would not drop everything she is doing to help out.

This ultimate sacrifice and true compassion for others has helped her become the mother she is today, as Lana’s personality is put on full display each and every day for Charlie (4) and Peyton (1). She is a role model to them both, even with them being at such a young age still, and she would do anything for them.

“Lana is an amazing mother and wife and makes a ton of sacrifices for our family,” Nick said. “I work a very stressful job and she is a rock star in taking on more familial duties, such as taking the kids to all of their activities. She is just awesome at keeping us organized and keeping me grounded.”

Nick knows the house would not function without Lana, and he knows that she is truly the one that keeps the Bertron ship sailing. She is so devoted, and this is something that Nick is blessed to see on display every day.

“It’s cliche, but Lana is everything to me, she is what holds our family together and my kids and I are able to enjoy a lot of things because of the sacrifices she makes,” Nick said. “Lana is a really special person, she is a wonderful wife who has helped me through some really difficult times when things are not going well, and when things are going well she makes me a happier person because of her sense of humor and her passion for life.”

Lana is just an all-around amazing person. She has such a wonderful personality and she is a joy to be around.

Nick knows that his life would be significantly different without Lana, but he is thankful and glad he does not even have to think about that. He knows he would be lost without her, and he counts his blessings each day, even though he might not always show it.

“Although I don’t express it often enough, I love you so much,” he said. “You mean the world to me. I am so grateful you are in my life. I truly appreciate all the sacrifices you make for our family and I cannot imagine my life without you. You are truly a special person and the way you approach life as a wife, mother, daughter and granddaughter is truly inspiring. The world is a better place with you in it.”

Keep being you, Lana. The world could really use more people just like you.
