The Bradley family loves to spend time together. Whether they are playing Clue or Sorry, or whether they are sitting outside listening to music, the important thing is they do these things with one another.
Another important thing to note is everything the Bradley clan does together is made 100 times better because of the matriarch of the household. Katie is the glue that holds her family together, and her husband, Ray, and daughter, Claire, are both super grateful for her.
“She is special because she is loving and brave (except for spiders),” Claire said.
Katie might not like spiders, but she certainly loves people. She enjoys making friends and spending time with family, and being there for others is a knack Katie has.
She works hard and puts her best foot forward at all times too. There are about a million reasons why Claire looks up to her mother, and Ray admires how Katie spends extra time with their daughter after bedtime being a listening ear.
“Katie is very kind and loving,” Claire said. And Ray says, “She is one of the strongest people I know and is a great role model for Claire.”
Without Katie, the Bradley house would not be nearly as clean and tidy as it is right now. She spends ample time being the conductor of the household and the glue of the family, and this stay-at-home mom is the bomb.
“She makes sure our family has everything we need and does all the little things around the house,” Ray said.
Katie might not think all the little things are noticed, but they are. Ray and Claire just sometimes struggle to tell Katie how much they appreciate her, and that is because she deserves to be reminded of that every day.
She also deserves an award for being such a phenomenal mother. Katie is a model mom, and Ray is super grateful to have nothing to worry about when he is working. His wife spends a lot of time passing all the right morals and values onto their daughter, and he could not be more grateful for that.
“She loves Claire and Claire says she never gives up on her,” Ray said. “She is very patient and is a great example for Claire. She’s always helping Claire with school, and spending the extra 20 to 30 minutes at night (a lot of time after bedtime) just sitting and talking with and listening to Claire.”
Claire understands she has her mother’s full support and attention at all times. She is grateful to have a mom who lets her be her talkative self, and she is glad to have the best homework helper ever.
Katie is someone who is her daughter’s biggest cheerleader too. She is always going to be in Claire’s corner cheering her on and helping her out.
“She is a loving parent who is always there for the ups and downs,” Claire said.
On top of being a phenomenal mother, Katie is a top-notch wife. She means the world to Ray, and he views her as his best friend and soulmate.
He also realizes Katie always has his back the way she has Claire’s, and for that he is grateful.
Ray and Claire love reminiscing on all the memories they have shared with Katie too. Every moment with her is a moment well-spent, and they are glad they get to share an infinite number of moments together.
“Christmas morning with the family. That’s my favorite memory,” Claire said.
Katie makes Christmas morning a really special time with her family. They open presents together and just love starting the most wonderful day of the year off right.
For Ray, his most cherished memory is something that is a little more intimate. It culminates the love he has for Katie, as it is a true reminder of her inner and outward beauty.
“The first time I saw her on our wedding day. I can’t describe how seeing her walk down the aisle that day made me feel,” Ray said. “Besides the day Claire was born, it was the best day of our lives.”
This family of three truly cherishes one another, and they all love spending the time together that they do. And for Ray and Claire in particular, knowing their Dateline, SVU and The Curse of Oak Island-loving wife and mother is the matriarch of the family can make even life’s toughest moments that much better.
