As a dentist, not only does Gianna Mohrman put a smile on her patients’ faces, but she puts a smile on the faces of her husband Ben, and her two daughters: 14-year-old Marah and 12-year-old Emilia. Gianna is a mul-titalented woman running her own dental practice while making tons of time for her family, which doesn’t go unnoticed.
“Some of the things I admire most about my mom are that she is hard-working, owning her own business, and still having time to spend with her family,” said her daughters. “I admire how passionate she is about her goals and the people she loves. I also admire how she aims to make things right with people and has empathy with others. I also love that she puts other people before herself.”
Gianna was born in Valparaiso, Indiana to Joann Swigon and Art Georgion with her two beloved siblings Artie and Andrea Georgion. She worked hard growing up, culminating in her educational journey at Indiana University to set herself up for a successful dental practice.
Even with her busy schedule, Gianna is still able to make time for herself. She enjoys reading, exercising and travelling but always loves spending time with her friends and family as well.
Gianna’s daughters have many favorite memories with her such as travelling to dance competitions, including the time they spend at the competition and on route in the car. Gianna’s daughters also love their late-night talks with her before bed, partially because she gives such good advice.
“My mom has taught us in order to achieve our goals, as well as to put our best foot forward,” said her daughters. “She has also taught us to try our best and stand up for what we believe in. My mom has also taught me that I can do anything I put my mind to.”
Gianna has also taught her daughters to be the best they can be and the value of never giving up. Her children admire the lessons they’ve learned from her so much, but there is even more that they admire about their mother and how much she cares about her daughters.
“I love that she always supports our interests and encourages us to try new things. I also admire how loving and caring she is. My mom also always puts others above herself and makes sure we are happy,” said Marah and Emilia, “She is good to others because she is thoughtful and considerate to everyone she meets. Also, no matter who it is, she is always nice and tries to help them.”
Marah and Emilia truly view their mother as their role model. It seems like there will be many more smiles to come in this family’s future as Gianna’s family wants her to know how appreciated she is on this Mother’s Day.
