Meagan McVeigh is an amazing mother who does a tremendous job taking care of her family, including her fiancé, Adam Newell, their son, Knox, and their puppy, Benny.
She cleans the house, cooks every meal, and takes care of Knox, who is 8 months old, all while working and taking multiple courses and studying to obtain a real estate license.
“Meagan takes care of our entire family every single day,” Adam said. “She is an incredible mother who is dedicated to making our lives better. She has boundless energy. I don’t know how she does it, but we are all very lucky to have her in our lives.”
The people in her life appreciate how friendly and caring she is to everyone, which extends to her job at the Parkdale Food Centre. She leads the youth program, which helps teenagers get into the workforce by teaching them responsibility and the skills required to get a job.
When she’s not working or helping others, Meagan enjoys going out with friends for dinner and drinks, walks in the park, fitness classes, yoga, and reality and cooking shows. She has also traveled with Adam to Boston to see Fenway Park, which Adam will never forget.
“Our trip together to Fenway Park was the greatest time of my life,” Adam said with a smile. “We missed our train coming home so I could go back and see the park again. I had so much fun and I’m so happy I got to do it with her.”
Family means everything to Meagan, and she is always willing to talk or hang out any time they need her. Adam added that she never misses a family outing.
“With her wonderful personality and sense of humor, she is always the life of the party,” Adam said.
Adam stated that just having Meagan in his life has made him a better person.
“Before I met her, I was easily agitated and always stressed about life and money,” he said, adding, “She taught me to be better with my finances, and she keeps me calm and encourages me to strive for better things.”
Meagan has taught Adam to be a better human through kindness and connecting with others, which he did not do before he met her. The best thing, Adam said, is that she loves him for who he is, so he doesn’t have to try to hide his faults and he can be completely open with her, which he appreciates.
“She is my best friend, and I can’t imagine life without her,” Adam said. “She means everything to me.”
Meagan has given Adam hope for a better future, and he’s excited for their life together.
“I don’t say how much I love and appreciate her enough, and I’m not good at showing my emotions, but I want her to know that I love her more than words can say,” he said. “I see how hard she works, and I really appreciate everything she does for me and Knox, and Benny, too! I don’t know where I’d be without her. I can’t wait to continue to grow our family and share life experiences together.”
