When your husband is saying these types of things about you, you know you are doing something right. You know you are impacting him and your family when they have nothing but positive things to say about you.
This is the exact personality Mary Joanne Zeising possesses, as she is super selfless, compassionate and loving. She cares so much about her family and friends, and they all love and cherish her for this.
In many ways, Mary Jo is a role model. Beyond being her father George’s and Grammie’s favorite, she brings a natural light into this world. Mary Jo is a hard worker, is very intelligent, and she is someone her kids always wanted to grow up to be like.
“I have learned about putting your children first,” Mary Jo’s daughter Mallory said. “Jameson of course benefits from having Grammy as his grandma, and he also benefits from me learning how to be a mom by watching Grammy’s example.”
Mallory has turned into a wonderful mother in her own right simply because she got to learn from the best. She had the most supportive mother growing up, and that support has never wavered.
And now, after spending years raising her children the right way, Mary Jo gets to spoil her grandchildren. Both Jameson and Gracie love their Grammy so much, and they always look forward to spending time with her.
Mary Jo’s husband Mort loves spending time with his amazing wife as well. From seeing her succeed over a long tenure at two different schools as a teacher’s paraprofessional to special education children and helping those young minds/spirits in such difficult scenarios, there are so many things Mort cherishes about his wife. He loves everything about her, and he loves doing everything with her.
Mary Jo is the perfect partner for Mort in every sense, and everyone around this couple knows this.
“My mom is the perfect complement to my dad,” their son Tim said. “She is able to let him be himself – he’s always the life of the party facilitating fun with the kids and grandkids – while keeping everyone safe. She entertains his often-crazy ideas, reeling him in when needed, but mostly letting him do his thing, which results in everyone having fun.”
Mary Jo and Mort are the perfect balance, and that is part of what makes them soulmates.
What also makes Mary Jo special is how her personality is absolutely amazing. She is someone people love to be around, and she is just a phenomenal woman.
“Mary Jo is gracious, giving, forgiving, loyal, beautiful (inside and out), smart, and really loves KIDS,” Mort said.
It is clear Mary Jo was born to be a mom, and she proves this time and again. From all the values she instilled in Mallory and Tim to all the memories she makes with Jameson and Gracie, Mary Jo is just an ever-present force in her family’s lives.
“We’ve learned to be good people,” Tim said. “My mom is the most genuine, kind, unassuming, down-to-earth, humble person I know. I’d like to think some of that has rubbed off on her kids, and now grandkids. She taught us not only right from wrong, but she’s helped to instill the right values in us that give us a positive outlook throughout life.”
Mary Jo is an extremely optimistic person. She sees the glass half full, and she certainly makes the most of life.
She is someone who possesses a lot of strong morals too. She treats people the right way, and she never backs down from a challenge.
She has her priorities straight as well. Mary Jo puts her family first, her friends second and herself last, and this is something that does not go unnoticed. She is very much appreciated for all the sacrifices she makes, and for always being in her loved ones’ corners.
“My mom exemplifies unconditional love,” Mallory said. “No matter how old I get, and no matter the circumstances, I know my mom will always move Heaven and Earth to help me!”
It does not matter what she has going on in her life. Mary Jo is never not going to drop what she is doing to help someone in need… especially her husband, children and grandchildren. She shows undying love in that way, and it shows how big her heart truly is.
The impact Mary Jo has had on the Zeising clan has certainly been felt, and they have never not noticed it. They all love her so much and are super grateful for her, and they want to celebrate her 65th birthday with a special reminder.
