To her boyfriend, Anthony, she is way more than just someone who means everything to him, but she is ultimately his home. They say that home is where the heart is, and that could not be more truthful for Anthony.
He has endured many things in the past and it has made life a lot more difficult for him at times, but with Bahar in his life, he is able to continue looking forward. The future is bright, and he knows that he would not see things that way without Bahar showing him love every single day.
“She has provided me with a safe place for me to be myself and be accepted regardless of the mistakes that I make along the way,” Anthony said. “She is someone that I can confide in and someone who will seek to understand me rather than jump and lash out at the first thing that rubs her the wrong way. She is someone who is fair to me. She is loving, nurturing, incredibly giving and always striving to make sure that I am happy. She strives to take me to a place of bliss where only her and I exist. She is someone for me to grow with, she is a constant in my life, and I have never had that before.”
For Anthony, he knows that he would not be where he is at without Bahar. He is beyond thankful and grateful for her, and he could not imagine anyone else loving him the way she does.
She shows a certain kind of love and acceptance toward Anthony, but moreover, she shows a particular love and acceptance for everyone. Bahar is a caring individual who is always looking out for people and making sure they are taken care of.
What’s more is the fact that no matter what life throws at her, Bahar is ready to face the challenge head-on. She does not let anything get the best of her, and she has an optimistic viewpoint on life that not many people possess.
“The thing that jumps out first is her stoicism,” Anthony said. “This doesn’t mean that she doesn’t stumble or is impervious to always succeeding, but even in the face of failure she takes a moment and allows herself to feel. She does not ruminate on feeling sorry for the tribulations that occur in her life. However, beneath that determined individual is someone who is warm, nurturing, and strives to make others feel included and heard.”
The love and care she shows toward everyone and everything are a sight to behold, and Anthony is in constant awe of his girlfriend every single day.
From the time where he made her spaghetti and meatballs by hand to all their FaceTime dates, Anthony is looking forward to many more wonderful moments with Bahar.
He is so glad that he has her by his side, and he knows that she is the reason that he can get through anything. With each other, they can get through anything life throws their way. They have so much love for one another, and Anthony is looking forward to spending the rest of his life with Bahar.
“‘Welcome everything, push away nothing,’” he said. “This is a great saying, but how do you do it? Well, I cannot tell others how to, but I can see the many aspects of her life where she has embodied this. It is the essence of who she is. Sure, she has had many events that she has been upset about and have caused her pain, but rather than running to a maladaptive coping mechanism, she has sat with these events and learned from them. Everything she has welcomed, whether painful, joyful, infuriating has transformed her into the nurturing and loving soul that she is.”
