As Joann Bellm turns 80, her family and friends are reflecting on the wonderful woman that she is.
For starters, Joann is a family woman through and through. She is one of five kids who married her soulmate, Darell, and had five kids of her own. Her children in turn brought her 11 grandchildren and five great grandchildren (so far).
She is the kind of mother who has always been selfless and loving. Joann sacrificed so much for her children, and she has always gone above and beyond for them.
She even quit her job when her children needed help with her grandkids. There is nothing she won’t do for them. Joann is definitely a selfless person who genuinely enjoys helping others.
She is also super fun and loves to laugh! She loves hanging out with her kids, grandkids and friends. She never misses any of her kids’ or grandkids’ sporting events. Even as she is approaching 80, she still goes to everything she can.
Playing games is one of her favorite things to do. She attends game nights with friends and family at least twice a month and is super competitive.
Joann makes life memorable for everyone around her. She is someone that a lot of people look up to, and that is because Joann’s personality is one-of-a-kind. She has a big heart and a kind soul.
Joann has been part of both a bridge and bunco club for over 50 years, and she enjoys her nights out with the girls. She loves listening to old country music and watching game shows. She was a member of the Jaycees in her younger days and is currently a member of the Highland Women’s Club.
Joann enjoys meals with her family, especially when they make her favorite food, BBQ pork steaks with hot fudge marshmallow sundaes for dessert.
Oh yeah, and how would she be one of the best grandmas and great grandmas in the world if not for her baking? Her brownies are famous in Highland! So many people request her to bring them to almost every occasion.
They all do not know how she does it, but her brownies are amazing. Her kids say it must be the love she puts in them.
