“She is my best friend. My rock. And the person I look forward to spending the rest of my life with.”
You don’t hear many men talk about their wives like Tony Cucciardo talks about his wife Mindy, but then again, there aren’t many women like Mindy Cucciardo.
Mindy is a rock star to everyone that truly matters because she knows what is important in life and what isn’t, and she prioritizes her time correctly.
She is a great mom to her four kids and an amazing grandmother to her three grandchildren: Elliott (2.5 years old), Amelia (19 months) and Oaklynn (16 months).
And yes, as you might imagine, she is an incredible partner for Tony.
“I love spending time with her, whether it’s playing games, going camping, or just sitting around talking,” said Tony.
“She’s my best friend.”
The couple first met when they were both working at EDS.
“I knew immediately that she was the one for me,” said Tony, adding, “She opened her heart to me and my kids and brought us right into her and her kids’ lives.”
That comes as no surprise to anyone that really knows Mindy. She is nothing if not open, honest and caring.
Mindy has now progressed to the point in her career where she is a government contractor with the title of Senior Capture Manager.
“She works very hard, but cares for her family even more,” Tony said recently.
“She laughs. She loves. And she lives life to the fullest!”
Her favorite thing to do is spend time with her aforementioned grandchildren, but Mindy also loves to be outside in any capacity. Whether it is camping, hiking or going for long walks with the dogs, if you aren’t sure where to find her she is probably in the great outdoors.
As for Tony, as long as he is with Mindy, he doesn’t really care all that much what they are doing.
That’s why Tony wanted to take the time this year for Christmas to truly come up with a unique and special gift for his beloved bride. Something that was different than the usual or what everyone else seems to get their spouses this time of year. He wanted to get her something that would last for the rest of their lives and be something that Mindy could look at frequently as a reminder of how Tony feels about her. He wanted someone to write a story about how incredible Mindy is.
“I don’t show my appreciation to her enough,” said Tony.
“She is an amazing person with a huge heart.”
When asked at the end of an interview recently what Mindy means to him, Tony’s simple answer said it all:
“Everything.”
