March 18, 2022The incredible woman that’s always putting everyone before herself: Michelle Strickland.
Vastly independent and markedly selfless, Michelle has no problem giving to those that she cares about.
To her husband, Scotty Strickland, Michelle is a rarity in this world. “Michelle is so giving and loving,” he said. “She sacrifices more than family and others know or could begin to understand and she never complains. She just does it and moves on because it’s the right thing to do.”
Her main focus isn’t on herself, but on the people that she loves such as her parents, her in-laws, her 95-year-old grandmother, her children and her grandson.
“She always puts others before herself and she does all of this by herself since I work out of state,” Scotty said.
And because she’s always taking care of others, Michelle makes every effort to focus on Scotty when he’s home. That’s what he appreciates most about her; no matter how busy, she always makes time to love him unconditionally.
“She’s truly an angel and a gift from God to us all. I don’t know what we would do without her.” Scotty said.
Even in her professional life, Michelle was helping others. After being an underwriter for Allstate, she was a caregiver for the elderly. Now, she focuses on taking care of her family.
While taking care of the family, she is nevertheless extremely supportive of Scotty and his job. When he’s gone, she always manages to keep everything together. “She is my rock, my angel, the queen of my castle, and my biggest fan. She is always encouraging me,” he said.
Scotty learns new things from Michelle every day. Not only the most beautiful woman he knows, but the most inspiring as well. Regardless of the highs and lows, she has taught him how to love unconditionally, to always keep the faith and pray every day.
Even in the most challenging of times, Michelle maintains the most unwavering love for her family. She is truly the most special person that Scotty has ever known.
From the minute she walked down the aisle, Scotty could not believe how lucky he was to be marrying such an amazing woman. “God bless the broken road that brought us together,” he said.
Michelle is his world, his heartbeat, the reason he lives, and the reason he does what he does. Without her, Scotty wouldn’t be the person that he is today.
And above all, Scotty wants Michelle to know how amazing she truly is.
“Thank you for all you do for me and everyone in our family. You do it without being asked and because you want to. You are an angel to us all and we are blessed to have you. Only if everyone had your heart for others this world would be a better place.” – Scotty
