Zach and Maili Walden certainly would not be where they are in their lives without one another. They have grown up together both literally and figuratively, and they have been by each other’s sides for more than half their young lives.
“My wife, Maili, means everything to me,” Zach said. “We’ve been together since we were teenagers, almost 20 years now. She also helped start my business and paid all our bills as we struggled early in life and our careers. I would not be who I am as a person, father, and businessman without Maili.”
When Zach and Maili first started dating, neither of them could have imagined they would have gotten this far together. And at the same time, it does not surprise either of them. They know they are made for each other, and they would not want to be without each other.
“She is my life partner, confidant and best friend,” Zach said. “We’ve grown together, started a family together, and been through good and bad times. LIFE.”
Your soulmate is someone who should love you unconditionally and support you no matter what. This is exactly what Zach has gotten from his amazing and beautiful wife. Maili has held his hand through their toughest times, as well as their best times together.
When Zach first started his business, things got tough real fast. He was struggling to make ends meet, and he was struggling to find his footing. But thankfully, he had Maili. She was there to remind him he could do anything, and she was his sense of strength and pillar of support.
Maili has never been afraid to step in and be that pillar either. She loves her husband more than anything, and she has always wanted to see him succeed.
At the same time, she focuses on bringing out the best in everyone all around her. She is a tremendous friend and a great confidant. Maili is the type of friend you instantly connect with, and that is because she cares so much about everyone and everything.
“She always puts others first and never thinks of herself,” Zach said. “She is very kind, giving and patient. She’s a great and loyal friend, and people love being around her. She doesn’t see herself this way and doesn’t realize how impactful she can be on other people’s lives.”
A lot of people would be lost without Maili – especially Zach. People count on her to be there for them and show her selfless heart, and she is appreciated for such.
A lot of people also cherish Maili as a mother. Everyone around her knows her kids always come first, and they admire this fact. Everything Maili does is for family – particularly her children – and no one would dare come between her and her kids.
“We have three small kids – Ella (8), Charlie (6) and Archie (1),” Zach said. “Maili is the rock that holds our family together. She cares for the kids and house as I’m busy with my demanding career. She always puts the kids first, wants to do better, and is too hard on herself to be perfect. Kids can be stressful and demanding, but Maili does a great job raising them.”
Maili does a tremendous job making sure the kids always have everything they need. Whether she is making them a healthy lunch, helping them with homework, or tucking them in at night, Maili is the type of mother who unconditionally supports her children.
She loves taking them on family trips, swimming, and just bringing them to family and friend gatherings. Maili loves involving the kids in everything they do, and she focuses on raising them in a loving and family environment. She runs them all around to their sports and extracurricular activities too, and that does not go unnoticed.
Another thing that does not go unnoticed is Maili’s hosting skills. She is a great party planner, and she is a welcoming host.
She is a great role model to her children and her husband too. She is someone they all learn from, and they are grateful for this.
“I’ve learned to be patient and forgiving, not worry about things that do not matter as much (money, success, etc.), and enjoy life and good health with family and friends,” Zach said.
Family is what matters the most, and that is what Maili hones in on. She makes sure she takes care of her loved ones and is just there for them at all times.
For this – and about a million other things – Maili is loved and cherished.
“I want Maili to know how important she is to our family and me, and I’m so thankful for her every day. I want this to be a reminder of how special she and our family are. Family is very important to Maili, whether it’s our kids or her mom/dad/brother/sister. She loves her family.” – Zach
