Joseph Hutchinson is moving north to chase an Ivy League dream. The pro-style quarterback from Lamar School in Meridian, Miss., committed to Princeton on Sunday over Cornell, Harvard, Jackson State and Tennessee-Martin. Hutchinson also received interest from Mississippi State, Ole Miss and Tennessee.
Hutchinson sees the field well and makes quick decisions, and he certainly has a big frame with upside. He lists a 40-yard dash time at 4.80 seconds and is capable of buying time in the pocket or making plays with his legs in the open field. He has an impressive combination of football skills and superior intelligence to go with them.

All those skills showed last season when Hutchinson threw 23 touchdown passes to just three interceptions and guided Lamar School to its second straight state championship.
