It’s really dark in here. Even though I can’t see anything, I hear everything. I hear three voices the most.
The voice that I hear the most seems very nice. I hear people call her Michelle or Mrs. Hickey. I also hear her say that I will call her “mommy.”
I hear her say how excited she is to see me and that she will see me in March. I don’t know when March is, but I do know that I am excited to see her. I think that she is taking care of me. She is doing a great job.
I am always nice and warm, and I am never hungry. I think that she takes care of a lot of other people too. There are a lot of them, and they all call her Mrs. Hickey. They are always asking her questions and she always has answers for them. She must be very smart.
I hope that when I see her, she will answer my questions too.
There’s another voice I hear a lot too. I hear my mommy call him Brandon. I also hear her say that I will call him “daddy.”
He also seems very nice, but he wakes me up a lot when I am sleeping. He is always yelling at things called the “Eagles,” “Sixers” and “Phillies.”
He yells so loud that I can’t sleep.
I guess the Eagles, Sixers and Phillies must be bad. Why else would he be yelling at them? I will make sure that I am good so that he doesn’t yell at me. If he does, I will never be able to sleep.
I hear another voice. However, it’s not really a voice. I hear mommy and daddy say, “stop barking, Winnie.” I’m not sure why Winnie barks and doesn’t talk, but she sounds like she is very nice too.
I can’t wait to see her.
There is so much that I don’t know. I have things attached to me that let me cover my eyes and ears. When I cover my ears, I can’t hear as well.
I like to hear, so I don’t do that very often.
I also have things attached to me that I use to kick when I have a lot of energy. I’m sure that my mommy can feel that. I hope that I am not hurting her.
Hopefully, in March I will be able to use these parts of my body to do more things than cover my eyes and ears and kick. I can’t wait.
