Dawn Montalvo’s story is one of love, dedication and always sticking by what you believe in.
Dawn is a Jehovah’s Witness, and her faith is something that plays such an integral part of her life. She lives out her faith on a daily basis, and it is something that she makes sure her husband and kids work to prioritize every single day.
“It plays a big role in her life,” Dawn’s husband Tito said. “Every Wednesday night, she is out there taking part in the meetings. Every Sunday morning, she is there at the meetings. She never misses them. Her values are great. She’s got amazing values and makes sure the kids have the same values and are well behaved.
“It’s all about Jehovah to her. While Covid has all but diminished the door-to-door ministry, she spends a lot of time sending letters and spends basically every day with other Jehovah’s. It plays a huge part in her life, and she is very proud to be one. She was even baptized last year.”
If she is not doing something with the kids, she is doing something with Jehovah’s Witnesses according to Tito, which brings up how important Dawn’s family is to her, especially her kids.
Dawn’s kids mean absolutely everything to her, and she would do anything for them. They have one child who requires extra attention, and she does an amazing job with him through that. And with that, she also makes sure that both her kids feel the same amount of love from her.
Dawn never leaves one kid feeling left out, and her keen ability to show them both love and support 24/7 is something that is amazing.
“She is an awesome mom,” Dawn’s mom Marlene said. “She shows unconditional love for her children. She’ll do anything for them. She helps them through everything, no matter what it is. Her boys couldn’t ask for a more super mom.”
Her sons are her world through and through, and she is always making sure that supporting them and prioritizing them is the thing she prioritizes over everything else. She loves them, and they love her, and she is always in their corner fighting for them.
She spends time getting them to school, taking them to the hospital, fighting doctors and insurance companies, and doing everything else that her two sons require to be taken care of, and she does it with a smile on her face and while remaining the best role model imaginable for both of them.
“I always say she does the real work and I get to play with them,” Tito said. “She is constantly exhausting herself taking care of them. She is being an amazing wife and mom by allowing me to go to work. She also helps with their homework, and being a mother is basically her job 24/7. It takes a toll on her, but she doesn’t complain about it. She’ll just plow through it, because without them, she would be lost.
“She is also always saying she wants to get a job and help more, but with the amount of work she does, she is basically working all the time.”
That’s just the mom and wife Dawn is. She wants to be doing more, even though everything she does for the family is more than enough. She is truly appreciated for everything she does.
Dawn makes such a big impact on so many lives around her, including her mom, who has wound up learning a thing or two from her own daughter.
“She has taught me to be more confident and have more self-esteem,” Marlene said. “She has also taught me to be more open with my feelings and how to love again.”
Confidence is something that Dawn is never lacking, as she believes in the power of believing in yourself. Knowing what you are capable of and always striving to be the best version of you is important, and it is something Dawn knows how to do well.
Dawn is an amazing woman who complements her husband very well, and he knows he would not be the same without her. She gives him purpose and shows him a love that he has never had before, and he is grateful for her.
“What does she mean to me? Well, obviously she is my wife and the love of my wife,” he said. “She is my best friend and my rock. I’ve known her since I was 16, and I’d be lost without her. I get to goof around with her.
“Without her, I wouldn’t be in the situation I am in today. Dawn is the mother to my kids. She’s just the best.”
Tito loves her more than anything, and choosing to be with her was the best decision he ever made. She makes a profound impact on his life, and he is a better man because of her.
Dawn is an amazing woman who deserves to be celebrated every day, and she is someone who should be looked up to. And while Tito is not quite JJ Watt, he strives to be everything that Dawn deserves. This 26-year-old at heart is so family-oriented and such a loving woman, and there are not enough words to describe her.
