If you’re looking for the person with the biggest heart, you’ll have to find Alisa Webb.
Aaron Webb considers himself the luckiest man in the world for doing just that – loving her. “She is kind, loving, hard working, and loyal,” Aaron said. Those are just a few qualities that make up the outstanding person that Alisa is.
However, when Aaron first met Alisa, she was a competitor of his… in flag football. Fortunately, Aaron later got asked to be a sub for her team, and that’s the moment when they truly noticed one another. Fast forward some more, Aaron asked Alisa to sub for his team as well; she agreed, asked him to watch an MNF game with her and from then on, they were inseparable.
The next Sunday was when their feelings for one another significantly developed. Tailgating at the Panthers game together, Aaron and Alisa were getting along so well that Aaron’s friend noticed the spark. In fact, it was so strong that he offered his own ticket to Alisa so that she could go in with Aaron and continue spending time with one another.
Little did they know, this spontaneous, last-minute decision would alter the course of their future. It was then that they shared their first kiss. “It was as casual as if we had been high school sweethearts,” Aaron said. “Neither of us had planned it or expected it.” For both of them, it was their last first kiss.
After that weekend, Alisa and Aaron continued to get to know each other via email while Alisa visited family in Australia. Even through written conversation, the couple knew that they had found “the one.”
Eventually, they married and that day became one of the best days of Aaron’s life. Amid exchanging vows, Aaron had felt like it was just him and Alisa on the side of the mountain despite being in the midst of 100 close friends and family.
The choreographed dance Alisa did for him with their fathers was the cherry on top. Dancing to Bruno Mars, the three of them rocked the place and completely blew Aaron’s mind. “How she got both of our fathers together enough to learn the dance and keep the secret, I’ll never know,” Aaron said.
Since that day, Aaron and Alisa have spent many wonderful years together. Their love continued to grow even stronger when they became parents to their beautiful children, Asher and Adara. Aaron says that Alisa’s devotion to the girls is what makes her the world’s most excellent mother.
“The last voice they hear and face they see almost every night is that of their mother,” he said.
Alisa is also an extremely dedicated worker with more accomplishments than you can think of. So much so that she just landed the job as Assistant Director, and at a male-dominated job at that.
Aaron is immensely grateful for Alisa, her work ethic, their family and the memories that they share. If it weren’t for Alisa, Aaron wouldn’t be able to be his genuine self. But with her, she allows him to be him without ever apologizing for it. Alisa is his “why” for so many things in life; she is his everything.
“I would like for her to know that even though it may not feel like it all the time, her husband and two children absolutely love and adore her. She is so special to us, and we get that she is the glue that holds us all together and the engine that makes us work. It’s important she knows we do not take any of what she does for us for granted. She should know how admired and loved she is.” – Aaron
