When you think of Teri Spytman, you should think of empathy, care, compassion and love.

Teri is someone who loves her family more than anything, and she would do anything for them. She cares so much about her husband and three children, and she is also a good Samaritan toward other people.

Without Teri, the Spytman family knows they would not be the same, and they could not imagine what their lives would look like without her in them.

“She is caring and has been so good to me when I had multiple surgeries more recently,” Teri’s husband Duane said. “We love to travel together and always want to explore new things.”

“She is like a little buzzing bee nurturing all around her,” Teri’s daughter Alyssa added.

There have been plenty of adventures for the Spytman family throughout the years. There’re all the times she would watch Food Network while eating popcorn with Collin, Alyssa and Callie, there were the times they all played Pictionary together (Teri’s stick figures are top-notch), and there was the time Duane took Teri and the kids skiing. There were even the hot cocoa breaks from the family’s times out skiing.

No matter what the excursion was, as long as the family experienced it with Teri, they were happy.

“My mom taught me to be adventurous and kind,” Collin said. “Be respectful and responsible. Most importantly, have fun.”

Teri certainly lives life to the fullest extent. She loves sports, ceramics and nursing, and most importantly, her family.

Teri is a great mom who has always done right by her kids, and they are grateful for such. They like to think they turned out pretty great, and that is all in thanks to who their mother and role model was growing up.

“She pushes me every day to be a better person, to challenge myself and to not let fear or anxiety stop me,” Alyssa said. “She was there for me through some of the hardest times I had during COVID. She brought me comfort and love and never-ending support. I am so thankful and lucky to have her as a mother.”

All Teri’s kids feel this way, and that is because she has been leaving a lasting legacy in each of their lives since they day they were born.

She of course is a great friend to many as well, and her generosity is something her children always associate with their mother. They also associate her passing off her independence and work ethic onto all three of them as well, and that is just amazing.

Teri is a flat-out extraordinary person with a whole lot of love to give, and her husband and children try to reciprocate that love as best as possible. She deserves all the love and affection in the world, and they all know this.

“She is the world’s best mother. Through the rest of my life, I know that she will always be a guide for me. Not only physically, but spiritually she will be what motivates me to get the absolute most out of the life she has given me.” – Callie
