World’s Biggest Heart: If you ask anyone who knows her, that’s exactly what they will tell you Wendy Godwin has

She looks like a “Rican” and loves like a Christian. Wendy is the epitome of someone who puts her trust in God and would do anything for her family. And her boyfriend Sammy could not cherish her any more than he does.

“Both of us are huge on family,” he said. “Both of us are born again Christians. Our faith in Christ helps guide our life. She loves her family immensely.”

When looking for the ideal partner, it is key to share a lot of morals and values. And as followers of Christ, it was even more important for Wendy and Sammy to find partners who were equally yoked. That’s exactly what they found in each other, as there is absolutely nothing that comes between them and their love of God and family.

“We put our faith in God first and foremost,” Sammy said. “We love our church and church family. Our belief in God is instrumental in our relationship.”

On top of their shared faith in God, Sammy was drawn to Wendy’s altruistic heart. She is as forgiving a person as you’ll ever meet, and her pastor said she is the most giving person he has ever seen.

Case in point, Wendy owns a Subway, and she treats her employees with great respect. To her, they are like family, and she always takes care of them, from paying them well, to providing them with additional needs as opportunities arise. Wendy is not just their employer, she is their friend.

It’s no wonder Sammy fell in love with Wendy all over again after she replied to a post of a song he shared on Facebook. She said, “Listen to your brain, your heart is crazy,” and the rest was history.

Now, Sammy is looking forward to spending the rest of his life with his long-lost love and creating a beautiful, blended family. He sees how much of a wonderful mother Wendy is, and he admires her every day for it.

“She is the best provider for her kids,” Sammy said. “She dresses them well, feeds them well, takes them to church, and maintains the cleanest house in town. Wendy continuously dotes over them. She sent them all to private schools and attends all the functions.

“She also has raised her grandson – John Marshall – since birth.”

There’s that giving, altruistic heart again. Whether it’s family, friends or a total stranger, Wendy is there for people in any way possible.

“She has a very, very giving heart,” Sammy said.

Wendy works hard, brings out the best in everybody, and she is even a great cook. Any type of meal you can imagine, Wendy can cook it.

She can also cook up a whole lot of love in the family, as she makes family a priority.

They all love and appreciate her for this, and they all know just how special Wendy truly is.

“Through the good times and the bad, she has always been there for me. She’s the person that loved me unconditionally, and more than life itself. Wendy is the most unselfish, giving of herself, person in the world. She has been with me through the best of times and the worst of times.
