Jenn O’Connor is, as her husband Greg puts it, indescribable. And we tend to agree.
Jenn is a wonderful woman who puts her family first, her friends second, her work third and everything else after that. She loves hard and she works hard, and she just loves being there for others.
“Jenn is the best wife, mom and friend,” Greg said. “She is extremely dedicated and hardworking. She is an incredible support system.”
As a worker, there are not many people who are as devoted as Jenn is. Working as a Sam’s Club/Walmart pharmacist since the turn of the century, Jenn is dedicated to her job and she treats her patients right. She is constantly looking out for them, showing how much she cares for them and working to get them the best care and the best deals possible.
When she is not making a difference in the lives of her patients, Jenn can be seen making a difference in the lives of her family. She is always there for her sons, parents and everyone in between. She treats everyone with the utmost love and respect.
Jenn is just such an impactful presence in her family’s lives, and they all look up to her in so many ways.
“My mom means the world to me,” her oldest son Kyle (21) said. “She is the most selfless and caring person I have yet to meet. Without her unconditional love, I would not be in the position I am in today. She has helped me through the toughest times of my life and helped me flourish into the man I am today.”
Kyle played football, lacrosse and wrestled in high school. He went on to play football at Franklin Pierce University, recently graduating with a degree in accounting, showing the success that was made possible by his upbringing.
His younger brother Jake (17) played high school football and wrestled, and he is on track to go play baseball in college. He is finding success just like his big brother, and that is all thanks to the love and support shown by Jenn day in and day out.
Jenn shows this kind of love and support to her own parents as well, as she treats them well. They are so proud of the woman she grew up to become, and they know she is an amazing wife and mother.
“Our daughter means the word to us,” Marge said. “Since the day she was born she has filled our hearts with love, joy and pride. The closeness we have is beyond words.”
She went on to say, “If ever we have a need or a question, she will be there for us. Our hearts are full of love and admiration for her and the woman she has become.”
The woman Jenn has become is a fully supportive wife, mother and family member who would do anything for anyone. She is a great role model to many, and she is so full of character and a strong personality.
One way her personality sticks out is through the way Jenn can connect with people. She has the ability to feel empathy for anyone and she knows just what everyone needs to hear at any given moment.
“One thing that has always stood out to me is her level of emotional intelligence,” Kyle said. “She is emotionally intelligent in times of crisis, and when others need her support and love. This is something I cannot get anywhere else in my life.”
This emotional intelligence has helped guide Jenn in so many ways, including in the way she carries herself as a wife and as a mother. She has always been able to connect with her husband and kids on so many levels, including emotionally, which has boded very well.
“Together Jenn and her husband Greg have raised, nurtured, loved, encouraged and supported their two boys to be two wonderful young men,” Marge said. “They always taught respect, the importance of education and good sportsmanship.”
On top of this, Jenn taught her boys the importance of putting forth maximum effort in everything they do. This includes working hard and never settling for second best, and this is something they have carried with them wherever they go.
“Mom has taught Jake and I what real work ethic is,” Kyle said. “She never told us to work hard, but rather led by example so we could follow in her footsteps. She has worked tirelessly her entire life, showing what true dedication is, which has rubbed off on Jake and I in our work, school and athletic lives.”
This work ethic has helped Jenn be a great mother who is always there for her kids and modeling success for them.
It is also something that her husband has always loved and admired about her. He appreciates all the hard work she puts in day in and day out, both at work and on the home front, and he knows he could not do it without her being who she is.
“I admire how she is such a hard and dedicated worker to anything she does, whether it is her career as a pharmacist, helping out her children with their schooling or sports teams or friends when they may be in need,” Greg said. “She is a dedicated wife, mom and friend. She will go out of her way to help people out.”
Jenn is selfless in many ways, and she is constantly doing whatever it takes to be there for others. She sacrifices so much so she can show people her love and support, and this has always shone through when it comes to her boys in particular.
“She loves spending time with her family and friends,” Greg said. “Both sons are very active in sports. She enjoys attending their games and watching them play. She also volunteers to help out their teams when she can.”
Jenn likes to stay active, she likes to stay taking care of others, and she enjoys making herself available to her friends and family. She is a one of a kind woman who would do anything for anyone, and her husband and sons love and appreciate her so very much.
“I just want to show her love and respect. She has been my wife and partner for over 20 years. I can’t believe it has gone by so fast. I can’t wait for the memories of the next 20-plus years.” – Greg
